Be Casa and Jon Kortajarena present “The Time We Want to Have”, a flexible and mindful lifestyle
‘What would you say if I told you I know a place where time moves differently?’ This is the question with which Jon Kortajarena, the new ambassador of Be Casa (www.becasaapartments.com), invites his community to reflect in the brand’s new campaign video. A role model for a more mindful life, someone who lives surrounded by projects, shoots, trips and commitments, and for whom time is the most precious asset. Someone who has learned to reconnect with the essential: his well-being, the people he loves. With him, Jon Kortajarena and Be Casa invite us to take a necessary pause amid so much noise, to remember that having quality time is also a choice. And that this is possible without leaving home.
The audiovisual piece, titled ‘The time we want to have’, features Jon Kortajarena reflecting in front of the camera about haste, productivity and the time we devote to what matters and to those who matter; in short, a deep reflection on time. He proposes something as radical as it is necessary: returning to being present. Being with yourself. Being with others. Being without doing anything. Because time is fleeting, ephemeral. He places special emphasis on the idea that living better also means living with flexibility; ‘in a place where each day you can gain an hour from life’ and invest it in what makes us happy.
Be Casa, the innovative flexible living concept with communities in Valdebebas, San Sebastián de los Reyes, Rivas-Vaciamadrid and Alcobendas, offers a way of living that adapts to real life and to each person’s needs. Fully equipped studios and apartments where you can feel the warmth and intimacy of a home, whether for a day, a few weeks or several months, but also with every kind of comfort thanks to included services and shared areas (gym, cinema, coworking or social club, among others) designed to make daily life easier. Spaces to connect with others, take care of yourself, work, pause for a moment and regain balance. An invitation to live more mindfully, without giving up your own pace and without worries.
‘Home should give you back time, not take it away. That’s why we created a new concept: living in a place with move-in-ready apartments, with services included, no strings attached, and in key locations. But, above all, designed for something more: so that you live better, gain time and invest it in yourself. It’s a space where you can live, work, take care of yourself, have fun, rest and share without wasting time. Because at Be Casa, you have the time you want to have, and it adapts to you,’ says Marino Laso, Senior Marketing Manager at Greystar.
The era of ‘I don’t have time’
According to data from the Spanish Society for the Study of Anxiety and Stress, 76% of the population say they feel stressed by the lack of time. In this context, psychologist Cristina Martínez, a specialist in emotional well-being and time management, highlighted at the campaign launch event that time is the great challenge of today’s society. The most valuable resource and, at the same time, one of the main causes of distress, both because of its scarcity and because of the difficulty of controlling it. She shared six keys to taking care of it and of ourselves, among which she included enabling spaces:
- Use a planner as if it were your second brain: Writing things down frees your mind and reduces stress. Plan your week with time for yourself, not just work tasks.
- Prioritise for real: not everything urgent is important. Organise tasks by importance, not just urgency, to avoid wasting time on things that don’t add up.
- Plan realistically, not idealistically: Don’t try to do in a day what takes three. Leave gaps between tasks and value what you actually get done.
- Group tasks into time blocks: Dedicate blocks of the day to similar tasks without interruptions. Work with more focus and less wear and tear.
- Apply the 80/20 rule: 20% of our actions generate 80% of the results. Identify that small group of key tasks and prioritise them.
- Surround yourself with an environment that makes life easier: Our environment shapes how we use our time. Living in a space that saves you errands and commutes takes care of you.
As Cristina Martínez points out: ‘Learning to manage time is not just a question of organisation: it is a way of living with more presence and well-being. It’s about switching off the autopilot and regaining control of our day-to-day.’
With The time we want to have, Be Casa reinforces its purpose: creating homes that adapt to people and not the other way around, places where you can stop, breathe and live your own way. Because time is the new luxury, and at Be Casa it is lived with intention. You’re invited to discover it!
